Dental Implants and Insurance

Will My Insurance Cover Dental Implants?
You may have heard or read that your dental insurance provider does not cover tooth implant procedures or implant supported dentures so you haven’t bothered to explore that route. If it has been a year or two since you last checked, it’s time to check again and it may be time for you to find a new dental insurance provider outside of your employee benefits.
Select dental insurance providers are now offering plans with yearly limits up to $20,000 for those who qualify—much greater than the traditional $1,000-$2,000 yearly dental insurance coverage.
When calling to inquire what services are provided under a given plan, here are the codes that are likely to be used by your dental implant provider.
